Dear reader,

Stick to your doubt and try to analyse the scenario that goes on behind , to grab an unclouded answer/solution for your queries.

What are perfect numbers ?????

Well basically,

We consider a random positive number , say "n" , as a perfect number , if and only if the sum of the proper positive divisors (excluding the number "n") of n is equal to the random number "n" itself.

For example:-

  • Consider a random positive integer , say 6.

Proper divisors of 6 are 1,2,3 (note we should exclude 6 from proper divisors of 6).

Now , 1+2+3 = 6.

So , 6 is a perfect number.

  • Consider a random positive integer , say , 28.

Proper divisors of 28 are 1,2,4,7,14 (note we should exclude 28 from proper divisors of 28).

Now 1+2+4+7+14 = 28.

So , 28 is a perfect number.

I hope that’s understood.
